Dr. Don Mungcal
Dr. Don Mungcal is a native of the Los Angeles area and loves serving his community with excellent dental care. Raised in San Fernando Valley, he completed undergrad studies at UCLA and then graduated with honors at the University of the Pacific Dental School in San Francisco. Following dental school, he also served as an instructor at the USC Dental School.
Within a few short years, Dr. Mungcal established his own private practice right in downtown Los Angeles. Years later, he opened Manhattan Beach Dental Solutions with the same purpose and quality of care. He has been honored as the Best Dentist in Downtown in “Los Angeles Downtown News” multiple times (including another win in 2021)!
Dr. Mungcal stays informed of cutting-edge dental technologies and techniques through constant participation in the California Dental Society. He is also a member of several prestigious dental organizations. He stays up-to-date with the latest dental implants, general dentistry, and cosmetic dentistry advancements by investing hundreds of hours in continuing education courses each year. Dr. Monica Habashy
Meet Dr. Monica Habashy, DDS, a dedicated general dentist who loves helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles. She completed both her undergraduate studies and dental education at the University of California, Los Angeles, where she developed a strong commitment to service through dental outreach trips to Mexico and Jamaica, caring for communities with limited access to dental care.
Dr. Habashy pursued advanced clinical training through an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) program and completed her residency at the VA Hospital in Long Beach. She is passionate about preventive care and regularly volunteers at local elementary schools to educate children on the importance of oral health. She is deeply committed to helping her patients achieve lasting dental health and a smile they can feel confident about.
Originally from Cairo, Egypt, Dr. Habashy has called Los Angeles home for the past decade. When she’s not in the office, she enjoys traveling, hiking, exploring new foods, and spending time with family.
